"Running Man" Music Video Release!
Dear Havenites,
I cannot believe we are finally releasing the video for “Running Man”!
On Wednesday, November 27th (The day before Thanksgiving) it will be available to listen on all streaming platforms as well as the music video on YouTube.
The video is funny and super silly. I wanted it that way because I have a sense of humor after all.
I honestly had given up that this video would ever come out. We filmed it 2 days after my car accident in 2022. If you don’t know about that, long story short: I was on my way to a gig and stopped at a red light when someone rear ended me, totaling my car and destroying my keyboard in the process. I wasn’t very public about the details. There were no serious injuries (nothing broken) , but I have been in a lot of pain ever since then, working through it naturally. I refuse to get surgery.
Anyway, now that you’re caught up on that, I was excited to release the video. But I never received the finished product. Then as you may know, I was dumped and moved back to Michigan. My ex is in the music video. So I thought maybe it was meant to be. Sadly, meant to be.
But lo and behold, I made one final attempt to contact the videographer, and he responed! He had been going through some personal struggles, which is what kept him from finishing the video. He apologized and got right back to work. So here it is.
What I have learned in this whole music release process, is to just go with the flow and not have an actual timeline. This may be the opposite of how everyone else does it, but for some reason it doesn’t seem to work that way for me.
So I will not tell you when the rest of the album is to be released. It’s way past the due date, but it is what it is.
I hope you enjoy the video. We really did have a blast making it.
